Samuel Adams® Hallertau 24 is a Bohemian Pilsner that was created out of our brewer’s desire to brew with the freshest Noble hops possible. And the result was a beer that was remarkable in many ways. First, we used the freshest possible Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops from Bavaria. They went into the brew kettle at our Boston Brewery the same day they were picked from the vine. Second, it is one of the rarest beers we’ve ever brewed as it didn’t even leave the brewery grounds. Samuel Adams® Hallertau 24’s distribution is almost as limited as that first batch of Samuel Adams that Jim Koch brewed up in his kitchen in 1984.
It’s a Bohemian-style Pilsner that is clean, distinctive and delicious. Samuel Adams® Hallertau 24 could only be found at Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston. In fact, they didn’t even keg it; they just poured it directly from the aging tank into pitchers.
