ptcchurchsign.jpgPop The Cap is a grass-roots organization that worked to repeal 6% alcohol-by-volume limit for beer in North Carolina. Pop The Cap was organized three years ago. Their goal was to change a crazy law, and together, have accomplished their mission. North Carolina is

a much happier state. We at Free Beer Buddy Inc want to congratulate them on their successful mission.

Sean Wilson founded and led Pop The Cap, a lobbying organization that opened up state economic markets to North Carolina's specialty beer industry. He holds both an MBA and a Masters of Public Policy from Duke University. Sean holds ten years of restaurant experience, including three years at Durham's renowned Magnolia Grill.

Sean's next project is the starting up of Fullsteam Brewery in Durham Fullsteam which will specialize in Southern Agricultural brewing using seasonal farmed goods, and local heirloom grains in the brewing process. Sean is a big fan of the "what if" and "what could be" philosophy (kind of like, "what if the 6% cap was lifted?"). Fullsteam's core question is, essentially, "What if beer was a distinctly Southern beverage?"

Joining Sean Wilson is Lee Chase, former head brewer of Stone Brewing Company.

Free Beer Buddy wishes you much success.
