The most popular way to drink a beer is straight out of the bottle, but the taste is trapped. Many have been taught to pour the beer down the side of the mug. This method only minimizes the foam, trapping in the natural carbonation. The beer may look flat and taste gassy. You also will feel bloated. The correct way to pour bottled beer is to pour down the middle of the mug. This allows the beer to agitate and release the natural carbonation. The aromas now can escape so you can taste the true flavors. By lowering the angle of the bottle as it is being poured reduces the flow and creates a perfect ¾ -1 “ head of foam. Pour it like you mean it.
