Congratulations! You are now a member of the Beer Buddy Community!

Now that you are part of the in-crowd, here are some suggestions for how to get started: 

1. Visit 'My Profile' on the Member Menu. Okay, not my profile, I mean your profile but on the Member Menu it is clearly called, 'My Profile.' If you have been drinking, don't worry because I'm typing slowly. Okay, once you find the right profile, here are some cool things you can do there:

• Click the Edit button. That way you can add the rest of your information like hometown, introduction, favorite beer, etc. We like to get to know our friends, okay? After you, we're buddies right?
• Invite your friends to join. On your profile there is a nifty tool to use to invite your friends. You can even import your address book from various spots to help in the invite process. Guess what? We actually keep track of who the top invitors are in our community and we make darn sure they are taken care of. Discounts, coupons for beer, t-shirts, and more are thrown at the feet of our best beer buddy evangelists. You can find the tool under the tab labeled 'My Invites.'
  
• Add any local beer events to the Free Beer Directory. You can add any venue that offers special concerts, beer tastings, barbecues, or anything else serious Beer Buddies need to know in your area.
• Add local drink specials, it doesn't even have to be your joint that's offering them. You benefit from the recon intelligence of others, so give back buddy!

2.  Browse or Search Member Profiles. On the Member Menu you'll find a browse option to let you go looking around at all the cool people who are Beer Buddies. Looking for someone in particular, or just someone in your city, zip, or state? Visit the Search Members menu option. Here is pure search horsepower. If there's a Beer Buddy out there, you can find him. Or her. You know, that part is up to you.

3.  Request connections with your friends, or with people who look interesting. Or with people who don't look interesting but look like they need a friend. Or, really, for no reason at all. This helps you keep up with your friends here. It also helps later because did I mention that we are going to roll out cool stuff like chat rooms, instant messaging, and more? Requesting Connections is easy. Visit your future friend's profile, and click on the Connections tab to send a request. They'll get the notice next time they sign in, and if they accept, you two will be buds for life. Or at least until the beer runs dry.

4. Feel like sharing? Click on the 'Submit News' link and share an article with us. If we like it, then we might just publish it and make you famous!
